Web Desk. A landslide in an Italian town cemetery has caused about 200 coffins to fall into the sea. This tragic event happened in the mountains of the northwestern coastal town of Camogli, around 20 kilometers south of Genoa.
The Italian fire and rescue service has confirmed that no one was injured in the landslide, but two chapels were destroyed.
According to news, ten coffins have been reported from the sea and the search for the rest is underway. Authorities have been working on the site since Monday with boats to recover the coffins, while access to the cemetery has been banned.
