COVID-19 victim Sachin Tendulkar admitted to the hospital

Web Desk. Indian Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was admitted to hospital as a precaution a few days after he tested positive for corona. According to AFP, 47-year-old Sachin Tendulkar was quarantined at home for the first six days after he becomes a victim of Corona.

Sachin Tendulkar was diagnosed with the global epidemic on March 28. ”I have been admitted to hospital as a precaution after medical advice,” the great batsman tweeted on social networking site Twitter. He said, “I hope to be back home in a few days, take care and be safe”.

Many fans of the prominent Indian legend batsman had prayed for his speedy recovery on social media. Sachin Tendulkar recently took the field leading the India Legends team in a promotional event called Road Safety World Series which was held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan also participated in the Road Safety World Series and their Corona tests were also positive. It is to be noted that India is facing a new wave of Corona where the number of daily cases has crossed 81,000, which is the highest since October.

Sachin Tendulkar’s home state of Maharashtra has more than 43,000 cases and 249 deaths. Sachin Tendulkar, who is preparing to celebrate his 48th birthday next month, quit cricket in 2013 and completed 100 international centuries in his 24-year long cricket career.
