Delicious Mango Kheer is a Pakistani and Indian style special mango and rice pudding or dessert made with mangoes flavored sweet and aromatic pulp. It’s very easy to make, you need few ingredients to make this creamy and yummy mango rice sweet dish.
To make this kheer try using the sweet varieties of mangos and full cream milk. To know that your mango kheer has cooked perfectly is when the milk is reduced to half of its total volume and you get a slightly thicker mango kheer OR rice pudding.
⦿ Rice – 6 tbsp
⦿ Mango Cubes – 500gm
⦿ Milk – 1 Kg
⦿ Sugar -1/2 Cup
⦿ Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
⦿ Almonds – 4 tbsp
⦿ Milk Powder – 1/2 Cup
⦿ Dried Fruits As Required
⦾ Wash and soak the rice for 1 hour.
⦾ Add rice to a blender and grind it.
⦾ Add the milk to a heavy bottomed pan.
⦾ Once the milk starts boiling add the grind rice and mix well.
⦾ Meanwhile, peel off the mango and grind them into the puree.
⦾ Now add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk and mix until dissolved.
⦾ Add milk powder or khoya in kheer and stir well.
⦾ Turn off the flame and add in chopped almonds.
⦾ Kheer is ready now allow it to cool completely.
⦾ Once the kheer is cooled down, add the mango puree and mix well.
⦾ Garnish mango rice kheer with mango kheer and dried fruits.
⦾ Serve it cold.
