Web Desk. Prime Minister Imran Khan had yesterday announced the deployment of Pakistan Army services in urban areas to implement SOPs in view of the rising cases of Coronavirus. After which the Pakistan Army has taken up position in the federal capital and also action has been taken.
According to details, Pakistan Army personnel have taken over the responsibility of implementing Corona SOPs in the federal capital Islamabad, after which two hotels have been sealed and around $655 fines have been imposed.
The Assistant Commissioner accompanied by police and Pakistan Army personnel visited the shopping malls, during which fines and penalties were imposed for violating Corona SOPs. The Pakistan Army has been called in to assist the police and Rangers in implementing the Covid-19 SOPs.
On the other hand, according to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 157 people have died from the Covid-19 and 5,908 new cases have been reported. After which the death toll rose to 16,999. The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 790,016.
