Web Desk. British medicine scientists have stressed that fatigue, sore throat or swelling, cholera, and headache should also be included in the symptoms required for the Covid-19 test.
Covid-19 is currently being tested in the UK for coughs, fevers, and loss of sense of smell or taste. A joint study found that adding additional symptoms to the list would help diagnose up to 40% more cases.
The joint study analyzed data on the possible symptoms of more than 120,000 registered individuals, of whom more than 1,200 were diagnosed with the disease.
This analysis helped researchers identify seven common symptoms. three of these are well-known symptoms of Covid-19, and already include suspicious symptoms, including cough, fever, and loss of sense of smell or taste.
Now there are four more symptoms: fatigue, sore throat or swelling, cholera, and headache will be needed to add as a symptom of Covid-19. (Remember that this joint research was done by King’s College London and Zoe Sympathy Study App)
