In the last 24 hours, 4,825 more people in Pakistan have been diagnosed with the virus and 70 have died, according to the official website for Statistics Covid-19.

After Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been most affected by the recent wave of Covid-19, and 956 new cases were reported here yesterday while 31 patients died. The total number of reported cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far is 114,077 while 3,134 patients have died.
Sindh, the second largest province of the country, is also witnessing a clear increase in cases and 952 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 278,545. Six more patients have died of the coronavirus in the province, bringing the total to 4,599.
In the last 24 hours, 469 new cases were reported in Islamabad while 5 more patients lost their lives due to the epidemic. A total of 73,450 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the federal capital so far, of which 665 have died.
In Azad Kashmir, the Covid-19 was confirmed in 128 more people in the last 24 hours while one patient died. A total of 16,591 people were infected with the virus, of which 462 died.
In Balochistan, the corona virus infected 125 more people, and no more deaths were reported. Thus, the total number of reported cases in the province so far has reached 21,743 and the number of deaths has reached 232.
The spread of the disease in Gilgit-Baltistan is more under control than in other parts of the country and 5 cases came to light yesterday, the number of cases reported so far is 5,258. Another patient died in Gilgit-Baltistan after April 19, bringing the death toll to 105.
