Desktop calls can be possible on both portrait and landscape options. WhatsApp has stated in a blog post that making calls on the big screen will make it easier to work with colleges. Video calls will allow family members to see and talk better. In addition, it will be possible to talk with family and friends while moving around the room comfortably.
These new features were introduced in the beta version at the beginning of this year and now available to all users. To take advantage of these new features, users will need to download the WhatsApp app for desktop, as these features are not yet available on the WhatsApp web.
